1M1: Hollywood Horns of the Golden Years is a documentary film directed and produced by Annie Bosler that takes you through the history of Hollywood studio musicians via film music's most prominent orchestral instrument - the French horn. Featuring numerous interviews with Los Angeles music legends, the film follows the development of the motion picture industry and its battles with the musicians' union. Preserving the history of Los Angeles film studio musicians from the beginning of motion pictures through the Golden Era of Hollywood, 1M1 includes historical footage of the MGM studio orchestra from the 1950’s showing off the wide-screen visuals and stereophonic sound of Cinemascope, interviews with music legends including John Williams, and never seen photographs from Hollywood musicians. This groundbreaking film uncovers many of the brilliant, never before acknowledged, horn soloists of the big screen.

Music Discovery is an online course that introduces primary school students to the exciting world of classical music through lessons, activities, and interactions. It covers a wide range of musical topics, giving students the opportunity to explore music through historical and cultural contexts. Students will learn to appreciate classical music and improve their ability to express their thoughts and feelings in both English and Chinese. Music Discovery teachers are part of an international team of music and linguistic educators from Tianjin Juilliard’s Public Education division.

Hosted by Andrew Bain and Annie Bosler, the 47th International Horn Symposium (IHS) was held at the Colburn School in the heart of downtown Los Angeles from August 2 - 8, 2015. The theme of IHS LA, “Then and Now," was a celebration and reflection of the horn's role across time. Nearly 1,000 horn players from all over the world flocked to Los Angeles for this seven day event. In Tune: Exercises to Improve A Musician’s Performance and Quality of Life, was written by Spanish sports medicine doctor Jaume Rosset who came into working with many injured musicians. Dr. Rossett specifically designed the book to help people maintain and strengthen a musician’s physical health and wellness. This book demonstrates a multitude of exercises, and makes them easily accessibly by grouping them by instrument, instrumental posture, and regions of the body.
